Adventure Seekers - check out the Nile River for great whitewater rafting in Africa choices!
The Nile is a wide and deep river, with very few obstructions to slow down its powerful flow.
On the international grading of river rapids, those at the source of the Nile rated between III to V (Grade V is the highest grade a commercial company is allowed to raft.)
Of the 11 major rapids on the Nile River, four of those are grade V level - so you can expect some amazing whitewater rafting and kayaking experiences here!
Do make sure that you also check out the Murchison Falls, the spectacular waterfalls located downstream.
The mighty Nile River is actually forced though a gap of about 7 metres (24 feet wide), then drops vertically about 25 metres - the force is so great that the ground around the falls shakes!
